In the 46th minute, Mustapha Kouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamid Hamruche was the one to do the kick off. Adelphi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Hamruche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kasdi Maroc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Aggoune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hamid Hamruche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khalida Benida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasdi Maroc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Aggoune in the 82nd minute of the match. Hamid Hamruche struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Tedj Belloumi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adelphi FC. When Ahmed Aggoune came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Rancho Cordova AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Aggoune couldn't finish the play. Abd al-Aziz Brahami's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tedj Belloumi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Rancho Cordova AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Adelphi FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Adelphi FC.
