Noureddine Abbas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Zaoui in the 3rd minute of the match. Kamel Achiu charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamel Achiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Khair ad-Din Khabatou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noureddine Abbas was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Noureddine Abbas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Stanton's Rabah Hamid nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rachid Zidān made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Tahar Dziri hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noureddine Abbas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Seth Timiney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Seth Timiney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half St. Bernard were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chadli El-Kenz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Seth Timiney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. St. Bernard's Rachid Zidān played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Fadela in the 53rd minute of play. Stanton's Noureddine Abbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khair ad-Din Khabatou in the 57th minute of play. Noureddine Abbas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stanton's Yazid Fadela got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Khair ad-Din Khabatou fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Khair ad-Din Khabatou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noureddine Abbas having to make a save. Rachid Zidān made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahar Dziri in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, St. Bernard's goal looked a bit too open when Chadli El-Kenz came free, but Rachid Zidān reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded St. Bernard left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stanton.
