The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Garfield Dream Team's Lakhdar Laref managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcelo Napier in the 5 minute of the game. Salah Hamid Brahima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Belkacem in the 7th minute of play. Abdelhamid Horr kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Boudjemaa Zahouania hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Djamel Belkacem came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Garfield Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamel Belkacem couldn't finish the play. Garfield Dream Team's Chih Dahleb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atlas Albändiyev in the 35th minute of play. Chih Dahleb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salim Bougherra in the 42nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sid Ahmed Kader stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abdelhamid Horr charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelhamid Horr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Paris Saint-Germain F.C booed when Garfield Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chih Dahleb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atlas Albändiyev in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the game, Salim Bougherra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Chih Dahleb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salim Bougherra in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chih Dahleb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdelhamid Horr kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sid Ahmed Kader managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paris Saint-Germain F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Sid Ahmed Kader was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chih Dahleb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chih Dahleb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Mamouni in the 79th minute of play. Chih Dahleb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Garfield Dream Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paris Saint-Germain F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
