Zoheir Sadmi hit a great ball. Ismael Belloumi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Kamel Fari made a huge save. In the 6th minute of the match, Abdelkader Merbah tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kamel Fari saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 8 minutes into the match, Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Nascar FC's Kamel Fari. Kamel Fari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, Nascar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Bäckström came free, but Kamel Fari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkader Merbah in the 17th minute of play forced Nascar FC's goalkeeper Kamel Fari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hocine Malek hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Hamid Morceli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tedj Dib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamel Fari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute Abdelkader Merbah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamel Fari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamed Azem to make the kick off. If Kamel Sad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakim Zerara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, THE OLD BOYS's Hakim Zerara got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Malek in the 58th minute of play forced THE OLD BOYS's goalkeeper Hamid Morceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Nascar FC got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Malek. Hamid Morceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Azem in the 63rd minute of play. Abdelkader Merbah hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Kamel Fari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelkader Merbah in the 67th minute of play. Hakim Sadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Fari having to interfere. Hamid Morceli made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tedj Dib sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Nascar FC's zone, Lennart Bäckström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamel Fari came out of the goal and Lennart Bäckström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Abdelkader Merbah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamel Fari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, THE OLD BOYS's Lennart Bäckström made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kamel Fari was left in no man's land by his defense there! THE OLD BOYS's Abdelkader Merbah got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamid Morceli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tedj Dib in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. THE OLD BOYS had played much better football throughout.
