The ball went over the crossbar instead. 3 minutes into the game, Eric Wenerdahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Clyde Kirkland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rene Roach received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clyde Kirkland came out and tried to block the shot, but Rene Roach slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Liu Zheng sped through Lillestrom FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clyde Kirkland. When Victoria Wolves's Liu Zheng in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lillestrom FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Lillestrom FC's Kendrick Harvey got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Lillestrom FC's Clyde Kirkland got control of the ball when Liu Zheng tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liu Zheng in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clyde Kirkland saved Lillestrom FC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Rene Roach notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Lillestrom FC's Clyde Kirkland. Clyde Kirkland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rene Roach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Liu Zheng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria Wolves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liu Zheng in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clyde Kirkland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Liu Zheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Nash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Orval Rubin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liu Zheng in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clyde Kirkland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Victoria Wolves's Eric Wenerdahl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clyde Kirkland. That made the score 7-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liu Zheng stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Victoria Wolves's goalkeeper Orval Rubin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Nash. Feng Sang Bing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Kirkland having to interfere. Orval Rubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Hall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Lillestrom FC defense, Rene Roach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clyde Kirkland. The Lillestrom FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clyde Kirkland should have stopped the shot. Rene Roach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Kirkland having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Liu Zheng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clyde Kirkland. Lillestrom FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liu Zheng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Eric Wenerdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Kirkland having to interfere. Victoria Wolves's Bobbie Dobson was substituted for Ludovic Pavot. Clyde Kirkland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feng Sang Bing went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Lillestrom FC's zone, Liu Zheng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clyde Kirkland came out of the goal and Liu Zheng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kendrick Harvey kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Rene Roach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Clyde Kirkland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Erick Montano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Wenerdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Victoria Wolves players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
