Phillip Benedict's late challenge caught a Truro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Royal Shearer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emon Swain was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Davis Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bitumount AFC's goalkeeper Hong Chouinard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hong Chouinard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathanael Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, one of Bitumount AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bitumount AFC's Hong Chouinard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Bitumount AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Davis Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Truro's supporters rose to their feet, but Davis Adams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hong Chouinard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nathanael Zamora made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Prosper Voss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 53 minutes, Thaddeus Gaudreau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bitumount AFC and the Truro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Bitumount AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thaddeus Gaudreau to maneuver through the defense. Hong Chouinard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davis Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Sylvester Erwin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Truro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bitumount AFC the free kick. After 60 played minutes Truro got a freekick which was hit by Sylvester Erwin. A collision led to Bitumount AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dalton Calhoun hit a great ball. Nathanael Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hong Chouinard having to interfere. Davis Adams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Thaddeus Gaudreau rounded Truro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 6-2. Truro's Emon Swain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Truro from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Bitumount AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Royal Shearer hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Davis Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hong Chouinard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Bitumount AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalton Calhoun to maneuver through the defense. Nathanael Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hong Chouinard having to interfere. Bitumount AFC's Thaddeus Gaudreau got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Thaddeus Gaudreau off the ground. After 96 played minutes Bitumount AFC got a freekick which was hit by Thaddeus Gaudreau. If Royal Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Truro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
