The referee ignored FC Bayern München AG's protests and gave Humbert Dubois a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Bayern München AG getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Connors couldn't finish the play. The FC Bayern München AG fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
