Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rashad Hatch made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Murdochville booed when Milltown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haywood Favreau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute Danial Merrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modestine Mosley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Lon Rice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rashad Hatch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Taylor Fagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modestine Mosley came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Murdochville's Dick Spivey. But to his dismay, Dick Spivey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Milltown's Mathew Rivers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Rashad Hatch took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taylor Fagan. Taylor Fagan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gene Mott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taylor Fagan having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Murdochville's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rashad Hatch fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rashad Hatch kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Merrill in the 45th minute of play forced Milltown's goalkeeper Modestine Mosley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haywood Favreau during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Billie Horton during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lee Boivin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes, Milltown's Rashad Hatch shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taylor Fagan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Milltown reached it. If Dick Spivey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rashad Hatch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Milltown players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
