Brant Godfrey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Corey Faust made a huge save. Fidel Piedalue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bob Lacharité received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Giovanni Sparks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Julien Rush fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aicy AFC's protests and gave Julien Rush a yellow card for diving instead. Giovanni Sparks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Lacharité, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Aicy AFC's Eugene Cuevas got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Bob Lacharité had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The Atnarko AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corey Faust should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin Neal to make the kick off. Brant Godfrey took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corey Faust. Corey Faust dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 57th match minute, Aicy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orville Staton to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Brant Godfrey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Corey Faust was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavin Land hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Aicy AFC's Danilo Lord got a free kick in the 69th minute. Aicy AFC's Giovanni Sparks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Webster in the 72nd minute of play. Corey Faust took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orville Staton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Robin Neal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Robin Neal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corey Faust was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Jan Webster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Sparks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Lacharité, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
