Stewart Newton was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Leland Aguirre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leland Aguirre really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Leland Aguirre was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Mr.ogg's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gurneyville's Stewart Newton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Gurneyville from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Leland Aguirre put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stewart Newton. Stewart Newton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rivaldo Leroux in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Rivaldo Leroux notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Gurneyville's Stewart Newton. Stewart Newton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 30 played minutes Mr.ogg got a freekick which was hit by Chester Grover. Rivaldo Leroux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Stewart Newton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Leland Aguirre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gurneyville's Stewart Newton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Leland Aguirre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stewart Newton. The goal made the score 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Gregg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leland Aguirre in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stewart Newton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 played minutes Mr.ogg got a freekick which was hit by Chester Grover. Rivaldo Leroux blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stewart Newton having to make a save. Leland Aguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Newton having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Leland Aguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stewart Newton was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. If Rivaldo Leroux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leland Aguirre in the 79th minute of play forced Gurneyville's goalkeeper Stewart Newton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Duffy hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes, Mr.ogg's Daniel Shepherd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stewart Newton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mr.ogg reached it. Rivaldo Leroux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 minutes of play Mr.ogg's Chester Grover was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Mr.ogg getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Chester Grover hit a great ball. Mr.ogg's Rivaldo Leroux got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stewart Newton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rivaldo Leroux in the 96th minute of play. Rivaldo Leroux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mr.ogg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
