But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romain Montgomery couldn't finish the play. Leigh Bradley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Myron French having to interfere. Myron French made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Montgomery in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, york 9 fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Séverin Ezell to maneuver through the defense. Romain Montgomery might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Myron French. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romain Montgomery ran back to his position shaking his head. Myron French took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romain Montgomery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dewey Tessier came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Whitemouth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dewey Tessier couldn't finish the play. york 9 fc's Myron French played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leigh Bradley in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind york 9 fc's goalkeeper Myron French, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dewey Tessier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Myron French having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, york 9 fc's goalkeeper Myron French had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaine Sykes. In the 56th minute, Blaine Sykes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whitemouth FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Whitemouth FC's Romain Montgomery sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Myron French narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kelvin Reeder came free in the 87th minute and tried to tip the ball over Burl Fontaine, but to the joy of Whitemouth FC's supporters the ball went over. Royal Lyons charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Royal Lyons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Whitemouth FC booed when york 9 fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Royal Lyons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Whitemouth FC's Achille Hurt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for york 9 fc. Whitemouth FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
