In the 3rd minute Ezekiel Hubbard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 4 minutes, Barton McCall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redstone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barton McCall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Ezekiel Hubbard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barton McCall's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Shannon Posey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, FK Norman Vikingur's Cyrus Kohler got a free kick in the 16th minute. Barton McCall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Shannon Posey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Redstone's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Gamble came free, but Bill Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezekiel Hubbard's late challenge caught a Redstone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezekiel Hubbard helped the player get up and apologised. Ezekiel Hubbard hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Hipolito Gamble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Nicholas having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Redstone's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Tucker came free, but Bill Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Gamble in the 43rd minute of play forced Redstone's goalkeeper Bill Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howard Tucker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Howard Tucker to strike the kick off in the second half. Redstone's Bill Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Howard Tucker in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Barton McCall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redstone's supporters rose to their feet, but Barton McCall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shannon Posey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Barton McCall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to Redstone getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Reed Shaffer hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Howard Tucker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shannon Posey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Redstone fully deserved thier win.
