Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Christie kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Beast FC's Pedro Buckner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Noe Wolf. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 16th minute, Elbert Hodges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ricardo Christie came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Beast FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Christie couldn't finish the play. After 21 minutes of play, FC Lepanto 71's Malcolm Faure made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Russel Root was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute Pedro Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noe Wolf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Faure hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ricardo Christie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noe Wolf, 3-1. The Beast FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 64 minutes into the match, FC Lepanto 71's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Christie came free, but Noe Wolf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malcolm Faure's late challenge caught a Beast FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Faure helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Malcolm Faure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Buckner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
