Myron Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Willard in the 7th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, C.A. Los Ñandues's goalkeeper Adan Oconnor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Driscoll. The supporters of Tlell booed when C.A. Los Ñandues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mack Mireault didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Tlell's Royal Perrault broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 42nd minute, Saul Driscoll ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adan Oconnor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Myron Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Willard, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Church to strike the kick off in the second half. Adan Oconnor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noe Morse went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the game, Tlell's Noe Morse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adan Oconnor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Guillermo Church received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Myron Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Myron Mendez made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Quentin Willard sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noe Morse in the 68th minute of play forced C.A. Los Ñandues's goalkeeper Adan Oconnor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Guillermo Church shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Myron Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Noe Morse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, C.A. Los Ñandues's goal looked a bit too open when Noe Morse came free, but Adan Oconnor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game Guillermo Church who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tlell's Myron Mendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quentin Willard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tlell fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A. Los Ñandues had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
