Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Lepanto 71's Gavin Dutton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Gavin Dutton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blair Belcher was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Emmanuel Cousteau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Blair Belcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sam Delgado during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Souris AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Delgado to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Malcolm Faure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Belcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Souris AFC's Blair Belcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Faure in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute Victor Stratton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Belcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Emmanuel Cousteau made a precise shot to the right of Blair Belcher. Souris AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Valentin Walton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noe Wolf having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lepanto 71's zone, Sam Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noe Wolf came out of the goal and Sam Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st match minute, FC Lepanto 71 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Faure to maneuver through the defense. FC Lepanto 71's Emmanuel Cousteau got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute Malcolm Faure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Belcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes in the game, Valentin Walton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Noe Wolf having to interfere. A collision led to Souris AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Erin Thorpe hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sam Delgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Emmanuel Cousteau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavin Dutton in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blair Belcher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Souris AFC's goalkeeper Blair Belcher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blair Belcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Belisle in the 62nd minute of play. When Gavin Dutton came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC Lepanto 71 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavin Dutton couldn't finish the play. FC Lepanto 71's Gavin Dutton got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blair Belcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Dutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes, Sam Delgado made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Lepanto 71's Noe Wolf tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Noe Wolf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Delgado in the 80th minute of the match. Malcolm Faure hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Souris AFC's Dewey Labonté got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Blair Belcher made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Emmanuel Cousteau sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th match minute, FC Lepanto 71 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin Dutton to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
