In the 10th match minute, Kingdom come was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casey Locke to maneuver through the defense. If Reuben Cartwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Dave Rossignol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Dickens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reuben Cartwright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Dumas having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Waterloo Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Castillo. Lambert McDermotts short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Allan Dickens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Kingdom come booed when Waterloo Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Earl Lockwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Kingdom come's Casey Locke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norman Dumas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reuben Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dave Rossignol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Rossignol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Kingdom come's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Rossignol came free, but Allan Dickens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Virgilio ForestLaforest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kingdom come getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Phil Zapata hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Waterloo Warriors's Merlin Lockett got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Reuben Cartwright got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Waterloo Warriors's goalkeeper Norman Dumas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casey Locke. 71 minutes into the match, Casey Locke notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Waterloo Warriors's Norman Dumas. Norman Dumas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lambert McDermott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kingdom come's Phil Zapata got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Dylan Castillo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kingdom come's Allan Dickens didn't even have to move. Kingdom come's Allan Dickens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambert McDermott in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Kingdom come was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Zapata to maneuver through the defense. When Dave Rossignol came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Waterloo Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Rossignol couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kingdom come walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
