Blainville Raptors's Benjamin Valentine got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacques Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Provencher, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 87 minutes into the game, Louis Hubbard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blainville Raptors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceylon AFC the free kick. After 87 played minutes Blainville Raptors got a freekick which was hit by Louis Hubbard. Humbert Dooley charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humbert Dooley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Willard Titus took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised François Hooks. François Hooks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Despite being the better team, Blainville Raptors failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
