One of Shahin FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Djazair Algeria Algérie:s goal. The referee gave Djazair Algeria Algérie a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. Young Melton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teemu Hautaoja in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Djazair Algeria Algérie's Teemu Hautaoja fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Djazair Algeria Algérie's Bogumil Rekowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edwin Shea in the 43 minute of the game. Yunus Karanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Young Melton having to interfere. Young Melton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morris Gould in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Tyree Matlock made a precise shot to the right of Sylvester Todd. Djazair Algeria Algérie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
