Spectators: 8421 (Terracing: 6316, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) L.A. Galaxy's Boniface Doiron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Vincenzo Presley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Marcel Coraș reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elmo Casey. The goal made the score 1-0. Vincenzo Presley hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Boniface Doiron who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Elmo Casey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elmo Casey came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by L.A. Galaxy's Teodoro Lunsford. But to his dismay, Teodoro Lunsford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 27th minute, Ahmad Payne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Graham Spangler was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Boniface Doiron had several of the Low's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Elmo Casey as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 39th match minute, Low was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermenegilde Marcum to maneuver through the defense. Elmo Casey was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Marcel Coraș capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcel Coraș really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. If Ahmad Payne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmad Payne to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Low getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ermenegilde Marcum hit a great ball. Belaid Benmabrouk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elmo Casey. Low's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, L.A. Galaxy's goalkeeper Graham Spangler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chong Pack. In the 61st match minute, L.A. Galaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belaid Benmabrouk to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Low's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Coraș came free, but Elmo Casey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elmo Casey came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by L.A. Galaxy's Teodoro Lunsford. But to his dismay, Teodoro Lunsford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Elmo Casey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boniface Doiron, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in L.A. Galaxy's zone, Rémy Webber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Graham Spangler came out of the goal and Rémy Webber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elmo Casey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boniface Doiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Boniface Doiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmo Casey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmo Casey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincenzo Presley in the 83rd minute of play. After 89 played minutes Low got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Jolicoeur. L.A. Galaxy's Belaid Benmabrouk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Low. Elmo Casey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boniface Doiron in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Coraș in the 94th minute of play forced Low's goalkeeper Elmo Casey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, L.A. Galaxy's Boniface Doiron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elmo Casey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. L.A. Galaxy fully deserved thier win.
