Marc Larivière didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbert Horváth went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Martin Oliverios scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marc Larivière, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mississauga Blue Devils booed when Vauquelin CN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oren Lin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marc Larivière tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Oliverios scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marc Larivière, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marc Larivière didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Oliverios went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Marc Larivière made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Sorenson in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Anderson Durepos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Marc Larivière was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Martin Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vauquelin CN's Marc Larivière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Durepos in the 37th minute of play. If Róbert Horváth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Larivière took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Horváth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbert Horváth might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc Larivière. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Horváth ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Oliverios to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Róbert Horváth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Marc Larivière was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Róbert Horváth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Larivière made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Martin Oliverios sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute Róbert Horváth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Larivière saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Vauquelin CN's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Horváth came free, but Marc Larivière reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbert Horváth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Larivière having to interfere. When Róbert Horváth came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mississauga Blue Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Horváth couldn't finish the play. If Martin Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Róbert Horváth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hong Flaherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Dobson in the 91st minute of play. Róbert Horváth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbert Horváth was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Mississauga Blue Devils's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the final whistle sounded Mississauga Blue Devils left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vauquelin CN.
