Zachary Gour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryant Boileau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Bryant Boileau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Gour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Simon Goodson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Nugent. Happy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Goodson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jewel Hopper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Nugent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Bryant Boileau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Gour, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Angelo Nugent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jewel Hopper in the 21st minute of play. Simon Goodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Happy FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Maxime Holt hit a great ball. Bryant Boileau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Gour in the 34th minute of play. When Simon Goodson came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Edgington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Goodson couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Jewel Hopper made the kick off in the second half. Bryant Boileau made an important save on a dangerous shot by René Tétrault in the 55th minute. Zachary Gour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryant Boileau having to interfere. Bryant Boileau came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Happy FC's René Tétrault. But to his dismay, René Tétrault quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 66th minute, Happy FC's Eldridge Blank ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bryant Boileau. Bryant Boileau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. René Tétrault blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bryant Boileau having to make a save. When Zachary Gour came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Happy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachary Gour couldn't finish the play. Zachary Gour's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Bryant Boileau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When René Tétrault came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Happy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that René Tétrault couldn't finish the play. René Tétrault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Edgington AFC's goalkeeper Bryant Boileau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by René Tétrault. If Zachary Gour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryant Boileau made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when René Tétrault sent off a good shot on target.
