Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gilberto Vieira made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, CA Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Everette Lebrun came free, but Gösta Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emon Diaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Gösta Häll when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilberto Vieira's late challenge caught a Cobden FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. Cobden FC's Aldo Holbrook got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Everette Lebrun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA Palmeiras's Gösta Häll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save CA Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronald Gaúcho during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cobden FC booed when CA Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Cobden FC's Gösta Häll threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aldo Holbrook, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 30 played minutes, CA Palmeiras's Randall Crump shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delbert Avare came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA Palmeiras reached it. After 31 minutes, Hiram Esposito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cobden FC and the CA Palmeiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Cobden FC got a freekick which was hit by Hiram Esposito. Gilberto Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Delbert Avare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delbert Avare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Frédéric Gabriaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristopher Hale made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Emon Diaz. In the 44th minute Aldo Holbrook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 51stth minute of the game Aldo Holbrook who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Palmeiras's Gösta Häll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd minute Cobden FC were awarded a corner. Everette Lebrun went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Hiram Esposito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gösta Häll quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristopher Hale in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Häll saved CA Palmeiras from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hiram Esposito in the 58th minute of play forced CA Palmeiras's goalkeeper Gösta Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everette Lebrun struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gösta Häll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobden FC. Gösta Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Holbrook, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Gösta Häll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everette Lebrun in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, CA Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Holbrook came free, but Gösta Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Gilberto Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delbert Avare having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Aldo Holbrook notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CA Palmeiras's Gösta Häll. Gösta Häll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Cobden FC were the better team. Cobden FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
