Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Blue Jays SC's Clair Hayes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dexter Duke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Lindberg in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Blue Jays SC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Andreas Kuhn hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Joacim Holmgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dexter Duke. Blue Jays SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joacim Holmgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joacim Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dexter Duke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joacim Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Lindberg in the 28th minute of play forced Blue Jays SC's goalkeeper Dexter Duke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Joacim Holmgren sped through Blue Jays SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dexter Duke. Dexter Duke came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Maxstone's Malcolm Lindberg. But to his dismay, Malcolm Lindberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Harvey Beebe's late challenge caught a Maxstone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harvey Beebe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Harvey Beebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malcolm Lindberg scored 0-5 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dexter Duke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malcolm Lindberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blue Jays SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Malcolm Lindberg scored to the left of an out of position Dexter Duke, making the score, 0-6. In the 55th minute, Blue Jays SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joacim Holmgren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Blue Jays SC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hercule Redd hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Malcolm Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maxstone's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Lindberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dexter Duke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 59 in the game by Joacim Holmgren from a close distance when the talented Dexter Duke managed to make a qualified save. Blue Jays SC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornell Gagné in the 60th minute of play forced Blue Jays SC's goalkeeper Dexter Duke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Blue Jays SC's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Lindberg came free, but Dexter Duke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malcolm Lindberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dexter Duke came out and tried to block the shot, but Malcolm Lindberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 66th minute. Dexter Duke made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cornell Gagné sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Blue Jays SC's goalkeeper Dexter Duke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joacim Holmgren. When Maxstone's Malcolm Lindberg in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Jays SC's goalie prevented a goal. Joacim Holmgren struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dexter Duke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maxstone. Jerrold Cutler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Moquin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
