Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Jorne Volders successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Summerland FC's Jorne Volders got control of the ball when Chong Lamontagne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorne Volders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Szostak in the 10th minute of the match. Garrett Gladu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Beaud in the 11th minute of play. Garrett Gladu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Beaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes C.S.M. Resita got a freekick which was hit by Chong Lamontagne. Charly Beaud scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garrett Gladu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Resita's goalkeeper Garrett Gladu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charly Beaud. When Lyndon Schaffer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 98 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Garrett Gladu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Summerland FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
