After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Hipólito Zambujal managed to get in a good position for a shot. CFR Sibiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipólito Zambujal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kelly Conroy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hipólito Zambujal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelly Conroy having to interfere. Kelly Conroy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipólito Zambujal in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Shane McCann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Landrienne booed when CFR Sibiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Dănilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ziemowit Zbydniewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmen Kincaid in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by CFR Sibiu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Werner was slow to take the kick. During this time Landrienne's players had a chance to rest. Hipólito Zambujal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 26th playminute. In the 29th minute, Luca Dănilă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Landrienne defense, Costel Novăceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kelly Conroy. The Landrienne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kelly Conroy should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Dănilă in the 55th minute of play forced Landrienne's goalkeeper Kelly Conroy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Dănilă in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kelly Conroy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Hipólito Zambujal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes CFR Sibiu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Werner who took care of the corner kick. David Werner made a great header on Landrienne's corner, it was just that CFR Sibiu's Ziemowit Zbydniewski managed to reach the ball for a save. Carmen Kincaid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ziemowit Zbydniewski made a huge save. Kelly Conroy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Novăceanu in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipólito Zambujal in the 68th minute of play forced Landrienne's goalkeeper Kelly Conroy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
