Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) Bernardo Goudreau started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jake Kitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Odonnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Moose FC's zone, Bernardo Goudreau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake Kitchen came out of the goal and Bernardo Goudreau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurice Odonnell struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Jake Kitchen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varennes. Jake Kitchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wendell Petit in the 13th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Earle Hollis came free, but Gilberto Boone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Moose FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Noel to maneuver through the defense. Maurice Odonnell scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jake Kitchen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Moose FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Odonnell came free, but Jake Kitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Moose FC defense, Bernardo Goudreau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jake Kitchen. The Moose FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jake Kitchen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Goudreau in the 40th minute of play forced Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Goudreau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jake Kitchen was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Moose FC's Jake Kitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Odonnell in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Varennes were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mitch Marleau was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Bernardo Goudreau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Kitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurice Odonnell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jake Kitchen made a huge save. A hard shot 56 in the game by Maurice Odonnell from a close distance when the talented Jake Kitchen managed to make a qualified save. Moose FC's players were relieved. Jake Kitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Luke in the 63rd minute of play. Jake Kitchen was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Bernardo Goudreau capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernardo Goudreau really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 75th minute, Titus Pineda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jake Kitchen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Moose FC's Jake Kitchen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Moose FC from getting a goal against them. Moose FC's Jimmie Ogden suffered a sore thigh after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Titus Pineda's late challenge caught a Moose FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Titus Pineda helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Titus Pineda. Dwayne Casey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gilberto Boone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Titus Pineda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jake Kitchen was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Jake Kitchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seth Luke in the 86th minute of the match. Seth Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jake Kitchen made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Seth Luke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jake Kitchen was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Earle Hollis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gilberto Boone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Varennes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
