Teobald Kondysar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Paredes having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Erwin Bush made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mindaugas Karalius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teobald Kondysar struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Clark Lamontagne took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mindaugas Karalius. When Yakup Kadri Civanbaht came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ottoman TurK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yakup Kadri Civanbaht couldn't finish the play. After the first half FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erwin Bush made a kick off. In the 77th minute, Clark Lamontagne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's goalkeeper Murilo Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erwin Bush could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Mindaugas Karalius made a huge save. Clark Lamontagne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Mindaugas Karalius made a huge save. In the 93rd match minute, Ottoman TurK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isa Brejnebøl to maneuver through the defense. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
