Spectators: 9189 (Terracing: 6893, Seating: 2113, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Derrick Osborne kicked off to start the match. Royce Rodriquez made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Krystian Żmuda sent off a good shot on target. Royce Rodriquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Derek Yu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. The nice shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 8thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Royce Rodriquez had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Hubert Sharp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloi Christopher in the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez got control of the ball when Mitchell Baker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Kearney charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Kearney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Julio Kearney. When AFC Richmond's Derek Yu in 17 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Royce Rodriquez guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Marshrose from getting a goal against them. AFC Richmond were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Marshrose's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mitchell Baker took the corner. Krystian Żmuda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Royce Rodriquez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Mitchell Baker got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Derrick Osborne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Sharp was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 32 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goalkeeper Royce Rodriquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krystian Żmuda. Eloi Christopher charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloi Christopher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Eloi Christopher. Royce Rodriquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veto Steller's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Royce Rodriquez was a little too slow when Veto Steller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-1. 40 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goalkeeper Royce Rodriquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitchell Baker. AFC Richmond's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mitchell Baker in the 41st minute. Mitchell Baker made a great header on AFC Richmond's corner, it was just that Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez managed to reach the ball for a save. When Derek Yu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Royce Rodriquez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Veto Steller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Krystian Żmuda made the kick off in the second half. Royce Rodriquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eloi Christopher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Marshrose getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bernardo Bourgouin hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, AFC Richmond's Mitchell Baker tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloi Christopher got free with Hubert Sharp in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Derrick Osborne came free, but Hubert Sharp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Derek Yu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Royce Rodriquez. Marshrose's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Derek Yu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Royce Rodriquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Bourgouin. Krystian Żmuda scored 5-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Royce Rodriquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AFC Richmond made a substitution. Fatsali Hamdi replaced Sanford Glenn. AFC Richmond's Morris Phipps was substituted for Derek Yu. Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krystian Żmuda in the 77th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Krystian Żmuda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Richmond fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. 86 minutes into the match, Krystian Żmuda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Royce Rodriquez. Marshrose's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krystian Żmuda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Royce Rodriquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veto Steller, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Mitchell Baker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Richmond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitchell Baker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AFC Richmond walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
