The player immediately received a yellow card. 11 minutes into the match, DOE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Vierchowod came free, but Kirk Lafond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes, Geraldo Whitlock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatic Dragons and the DOE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Galatic Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Whitlock. Antwan Gallagher struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Émilien Arrington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DOE FC. After 16 minutes, Nelson Hoover mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatic Dragons and the DOE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. DOE FC made a substitution. Pons Looney replaced Antwan Gallagher. Kirk Lafond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessandro Vierchowod's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Émilien Arrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pons Looney in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes of play Galatic Dragons's Nelson Hoover was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nelson Hoover hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Galatic Dragons made a substitution. Buford Ambrose replaced Alessandro Vierchowod. After 24 played minutes Galatic Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Hoover. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazinho Vasco got free with Émilien Arrington in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Mazinho Vasco notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington. Émilien Arrington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Galatic Dragons getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Buford Ambrose hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes DOE FC got a freekick which was hit by David Brochu. After a defensive mix-up in Galatic Dragons's zone, Pons Looney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Émilien Arrington came out of the goal and Pons Looney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mazinho Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Galatic Dragons defense, Mazinho Vasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Émilien Arrington. The Galatic Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Émilien Arrington should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Kühne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geraldo Whitlock hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Vasco in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Galatic Dragons's zone, Mazinho Vasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Émilien Arrington came out of the goal and Mazinho Vasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, David Brochu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Émilien Arrington. Galatic Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Brochu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Émilien Arrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Vasco in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, David Brochu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 白海政 made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DOE FC's Arlen Dixon. In the 65th minute Pons Looney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Émilien Arrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, DOE FC's Mazinho Vasco made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Émilien Arrington was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, DOE FC's Alain Ramsey got a free kick in the 75th minute. Émilien Arrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnie Loiselle, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Pons Looney took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Émilien Arrington. Émilien Arrington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 85 minutes into the match, Galatic Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when David Brochu came free, but Émilien Arrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of DOE FC booed when Galatic Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklyn Nelson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Mazinho Vasco made a precise shot to the right of Émilien Arrington. Galatic Dragons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazinho Vasco in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Émilien Arrington saved Galatic Dragons from getting behind.
