Spectators: 9343 (Terracing: 7008, Seating: 2149, VIP seats: 186) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wágner Recife took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wágner Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the match, FC CZARNUCHY's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Recife came free, but Aaron Peck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tracey Christensen fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC CZARNUCHY's protests and gave Tracey Christensen a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes FC CZARNUCHY got a freekick which was hit by Tracey Christensen. Aaron Peck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Wágner Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Peck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's Wágner Recife sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Peck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Wágner Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes FC CZARNUCHY got a freekick which was hit by Tracey Christensen. 34 minutes into the game, Wágner Recife recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aaron Peck. Wágner Recife showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Quinton Marcheterre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Peck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Wágner Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC CZARNUCHY's Aaron Peck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC CZARNUCHY from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Wágner Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Peck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rick Lafrenière made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rudy Kay managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CZARNUCHY's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudy Kay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santana Armada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC CZARNUCHY's Tracey Christensen got a free kick in the 56th minute. Aaron Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 58th minute of play. If Quinton Marcheterre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Recife in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Peck saved FC CZARNUCHY from getting behind. Saverio Niva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Peck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Aaron Peck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wágner Recife went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Recife in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Peck saved FC CZARNUCHY from getting behind. Aaron Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 73rd minute of play. Aaron Peck came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Wágner Recife. But to his dismay, Wágner Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Aaron Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Queirós in the 78th minute of play. Aaron Peck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Recife in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Peck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Saverio Niva notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of FC CZARNUCHY's Aaron Peck. Aaron Peck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC CZARNUCHY's Ferdinand Dupre quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roger Kohn, made in the 93rd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Saverio Niva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Peck. FC CZARNUCHY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Niva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vancouver Reds fully deserved thier win.
