An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Macchia in the 15th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferey Cox in the 16th minute of play. Antonio Macchia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Gary read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Eric Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Macchia, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Cacá Čačak took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Junior Zoff to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Denver's Isaias Grove got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute 蔡伟洲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, KARA ☪ KARTAL's goalkeeper Junior Zoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Čačak. Junior Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacá Čačak in the 37th minute. If Antonio Macchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Jefferey Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Gary came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by KARA ☪ KARTAL's Jefferey Cox. But to his dismay, Jefferey Cox quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, Antonio Macchia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Gary. Jagiellonia Denver's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Macchia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jagiellonia Denver's Viorel Olaru was substituted for Domenic Marsh.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Macchia made a kick off. After 57 played minutes, Jagiellonia Denver's Sun Lin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Junior Zoff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jagiellonia Denver reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Macchia in the 58th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Macchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jefferey Cox could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Eric Gary made a huge save. Jagiellonia Denver's Cacá Čačak got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jagiellonia Denver's Nicolae Costa was substituted for Isaias Grove. KARA ☪ KARTAL's René Moody was substituted for Edgar Ray. Cacá Čačak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Junior Zoff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Jagiellonia Denver's Sun Lin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Junior Zoff in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, Antonio Macchia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eric Gary, 1-3. KARA ☪ KARTAL's Rémy Aragon was substituted for Bernardo Fay. Michal Majdoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Zoff having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Remond Oosterveld reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eric Gary. The goal made the score 1-4.
