The Galatic Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Émilien Arrington should have stopped the shot. 蔡伟洲 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Émilien Arrington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 蔡伟洲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Siro Luzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Van De Beeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Donny Van De Beeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Émilien Arrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Čačak in the 27th minute of play. Jagiellonia Denver's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sun Lin in the 28th minute. The corner ended in Sun Lin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington did a great save. Tad Rivière kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Galatic Dragons's goalkeeper Émilien Arrington had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Majdoch. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Van De Beeck in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Franklyn Nelson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Jagiellonia Denver got a corner. Galatic Dragons's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sun Lin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Jagiellonia Denver's Cacá Čačak getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Cacá Čačak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Isaias Grove ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Émilien Arrington was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Vierchowod to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Galatic Dragons's Errol Lim got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Émilien Arrington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Čačak in the 57th minute of the match. Jagiellonia Denver's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sun Lin in the 58th minute. After 58 played minutes Galatic Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Vierchowod. Martin Kühne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jagiellonia Denver's Nicolae Costa was substituted for Isaias Grove. Eric Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Vierchowod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Galatic Dragons were awarded a corner. Nelson Hoover went to the cornerflag to take it. Émilien Arrington came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Jagiellonia Denver's Michal Majdoch. But to his dismay, Michal Majdoch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Émilien Arrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Čačak in the 82nd minute of play. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. Nicholas Kimble replaced Rudolf Garreau. Émilien Arrington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Čačak in the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Jagiellonia Denver were the better team. Jagiellonia Denver's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
