After some careless play in the Azzurri FC defense, Chauncey Veilleux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loramendi Valdivia. The Azzurri FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loramendi Valdivia should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ómar Sharif got free with Loramendi Valdivia in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Rosario Cardona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theron Dooley. NDG Fury FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosario Cardona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, NDG Fury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Cardona came free, but Theron Dooley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theron Dooley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stan Pitre in the 41st minute of play. Azzurri FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after NDG Fury FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denis Redd took the corner. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ómar Sharif to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of NDG Fury FC booed when Azzurri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Pitre didn't get a good kick on the ball. NDG Fury FC's Ómar Sharif got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Ómar Sharif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theron Dooley was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Stan Pitre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stan Pitre really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.
