Chong Sheppard kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ómar Sharif might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jason Achin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ómar Sharif ran back to his position shaking his head. Jason Achin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ómar Sharif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daron Keen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Theron Dooley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ómar Sharif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ómar Sharif sped through Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jason Achin. Jason Achin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chauncey Veilleux in the 28th minute of the match. Jason Achin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Arenstedt in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, NDG Fury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Arenstedt to maneuver through the defense. If Ómar Sharif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ómar Sharif took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jason Achin. Jason Achin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jason Achin came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by NDG Fury FC's Mårten Arenstedt. But to his dismay, Mårten Arenstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NDG Fury FC were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Terrence Arthur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Wilton Boyles quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dwayne Ducharme, made in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute Max Darby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theron Dooley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Max Darby in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Theron Dooley guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 55 minutes, Max Darby made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. NDG Fury FC's Theron Dooley tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ómar Sharif could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Jason Achin made a huge save. Ómar Sharif blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jason Achin having to make a save. Wilton Boyles hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jason Achin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Davies in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in NDG Fury FC's zone, Terrence Arthur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theron Dooley came out of the goal and Terrence Arthur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theron Dooley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Darby's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Mårten Arenstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Achin having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Mårten Arenstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jason Achin. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mårten Arenstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Benjamin Davies blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jason Achin having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Davies came free, but Jason Achin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Max Darby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theron Dooley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
