Manchester United were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Dinamo Tirana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chago Abellaneda took the corner. The corner ended in Chago Abellaneda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dinamo Tirana's Ceandro Abadie did a great save. Montrell Abenda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceandro Abadie having to interfere. Osvaldo Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyle Silk went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Özdemir Ünan fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinamo Tirana's protests and gave Özdemir Ünan a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Dinamo Tirana got a freekick which was hit by Özdemir Ünan. Özdemir Ünan was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 33rd match minute, Dinamo Tirana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özdemir Ünan to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Silks short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Osvaldo Neiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aureo Aballe hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Dinamo Tirana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Silk to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Silk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Neiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Abello in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montrell Abenda to maneuver through the defense. Dinamo Tirana's Joaquim Queiroga was substituted for Kyle Silk. Montrell Abenda hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dinamo Tirana were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Manchester United for a fine match.
