In the 10thth minute of the game Ramon Centurión who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Cristal's Gonzalo Berdugo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Abar in the 12th minute of play forced Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Stéphane Brault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stéphane Brault prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Abar came free, but Stéphane Brault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Berdugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Dudkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feyyaz Erol got free with Gonzalo Berdugo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Tytus Dudkowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 81st match minute, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feyyaz Erol to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Stéphane Brault got control of the ball when Fernando Abar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Cristal booed when Pepsi Fuchibol Clu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermengol Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Abar came free in the 88th minute and tried to tip the ball over Stéphane Brault, but to the joy of Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. 92 minutes into the match, Xavierlada Abarca notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sporting Cristal's Gonzalo Berdugo. Gonzalo Berdugo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Xavierlada Abarca put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gonzalo Berdugo. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pepsi Fuchibol Clu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting Cristal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
