Juan Funes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aristides Lluc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Naike Abalos made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Kamil Glik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Naike Abalos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicanor Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Funes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Abecia came free, but Naike Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Svetoslav Genkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naike Abalos was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Juan Funes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Ascencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, River CBBA's Juan Funes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Juan Funes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River CBBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Maicon Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naike Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idacio Abecia in the 42nd minute of the match. Endura Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When Aristides Lluc came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the El Pulpo Paceño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Lluc couldn't finish the play. Naike Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Lluc in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Funes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicanor Ascencio. That made the score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. River CBBA's Modesto Ado was substituted for Guerau Abeitia. After 64 played minutes El Pulpo Paceño got a freekick which was hit by Idacio Abecia. A collision led to River CBBA getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Matías Almeida hit a great ball. Naike Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Juan Funes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Nicanor Ascencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aristides Lluc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Funes took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicanor Ascencio. Nicanor Ascencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. River CBBA made a substitution. Ponciano Abarca replaced Juan Funes. Naike Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nicanor Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponciano Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ponciano Abarca in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Ascencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ponciano Abarca in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Ascencio saved El Pulpo Paceño from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched River CBBA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
