In the 9th minute Alex Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Lamento Boliviano were awarded a corner. Ingvar Vollander went to the cornerflag to take it. Augusto Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Werner Colvin sent off a good shot on target. Werner Colvin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Vergílio came out and tried to block the shot, but Werner Colvin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Colvin in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Roi Abad threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chuquisaca's Emesto Abajas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Jos Musseeuw put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fabrizio Catapano. Alex Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fabrizio Catapano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Lamento Boliviano's corner Roi Abad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabrizio Catapano quite easily take care of the ball. Ingvar Vollander made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zsolt Molnár however managed to control. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Lamento Boliviano's Adrio Abeijon was substituted for Roi Abad. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Werner Colvin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Lamento Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Soroka came free, but Augusto Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Werner Colvin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Vergílio was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Augusto Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Colvin in the 61st minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Chuquisaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Soroka to maneuver through the defense. Lamento Boliviano made a substitution. Timoteo Abadie replaced Uxio Abello. Fabrizio Catapano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jos Musseeuw, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A nice corner shot did that Zsolt Molnár got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabrizio Catapano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lamento Boliviano's Jos Musseeuw got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shepherd Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Fabrizio Catapano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jos Musseeuw, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Jos Musseeuw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Colvin in the 89th minute of play forced Lamento Boliviano's goalkeeper Augusto Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chuquisaca had won after a very even match.
