One of El Pulpo Paceño:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lamento Boliviano:s goal. The referee gave Lamento Boliviano a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ingvar Vollander, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio. 2-1. El Pulpo Paceño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goal looked a bit too open when Adrio Abeijon came free, but Nicanor Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jos Musseeuw in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Ascencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alin Levițchi charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alin Levițchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Alin Levițchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Lockwood in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lamento Boliviano had won after a very even match.
