Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Lamento Boliviano from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Arnaldo Colas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 13 minutes of play, Lamento Boliviano's Alex Ramos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerry Van Hespen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Colas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Colas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio. Augusto Vergílio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arnaldo Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mandarina Mecánica's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Colas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Wasyl Karanewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Van Hespen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Van Hespen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Karanewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Colas in the 33rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Arnaldo Colas sped through Lamento Boliviano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Vergílio. In the 47th minute, La Mandarina Mecánica's Arnaldo Colas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Lamento Boliviano's Timoteo Abadie was substituted for Manu Abajas. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fjölnir Bergsson made a kick off. With a little luck, La Mandarina Mecánica's Jerry Van Hespen got control of the ball when Samuel Roosendael tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes La Mandarina Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Pello Abechuco. La Mandarina Mecánica's Jerry Van Hespen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save La Mandarina Mecánica from getting a goal against them. Jerry Van Hespen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zsolt Molnár in the 73rd minute. Zsolt Molnár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jerry Van Hespen made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Molnár came free, but Jerry Van Hespen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Ramos took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerry Van Hespen. Jerry Van Hespen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. La Mandarina Mecánica made a substitution. Lukáš Plesník replaced Fjölnir Bergsson. Lamento Boliviano's Christovao Abastas was substituted for Alex Ramos. In the 87th minute, Dolfos Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerry Van Hespen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Molnár in the 90th minute of play. Jerry Van Hespen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Musseeuw in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 played minutes La Mandarina Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Dolfos Abar. In the 98th minute, Christovao Abastas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Van Hespen was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-5. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
