In the 19th minute Ramon Centurión shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's goal looked a bit too open when Feyyaz Erol came free, but Fabrizio Catapano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tytus Dudkowski got free with Fabrizio Catapano in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the game, Werner Colvin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Stéphane Brault was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Chuquisaca's Vicemte Abancens got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 40 played minutes Chuquisaca got a freekick which was hit by Anier Maidana. 42 minutes in the game Cordera Abella got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feyyaz Erol made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Dudkowski came free, but Fabrizio Catapano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Dudkowski in the 54th minute of play forced Chuquisaca's goalkeeper Fabrizio Catapano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Wilhelm Lindqvist in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chuquisaca's Vicemte Abancens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Millan in the 65th minute of play forced Chuquisaca's goalkeeper Fabrizio Catapano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tytus Dudkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Catapano having to make a save. Fabrizio Catapano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feyyaz Erol's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Fabrizio Catapano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Centurión in the 69th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Chuquisaca's Anier Maidana seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anier Maidana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chuquisaca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anier Maidana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Chuquisaca's Shepherd Abaurre was substituted for Vicemte Abancens. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Xavierlada Abarca was substituted for Tytus Dudkowski. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chuquisaca! In the 82nd minute Feyyaz Erol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Werner Colvin during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chuquisaca getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Werner Colvin hit a great ball. Fabrizio Catapano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Centurión, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
