Eyague Crisol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palben Jerez having to interfere. In the 7th minute of the match Thomas Abel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmau Cifontes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlondon Sarricolea in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmau Cifontes saved Uruguay from getting behind. A hard shot 12 in the game by Orlondon Sarricolea from a close distance when the talented Dalmau Cifontes managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. With his leg Dalmau Cifontes managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Somosnosotros F C's Orlondon Sarricolea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nahia Maide hit a great ball. If Teobaldo Ameda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Somosnosotros F C's Conrado Pascua got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Dionisio Matesanz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Dionisio Matesanz a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Orlondon Sarricolea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somosnosotros F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlondon Sarricolea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmau Cifontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlondon Sarricolea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmau Cifontes having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvator Casavela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uruguay's Dalmau Cifontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlondon Sarricolea in the 54th minute of play. Orlondon Sarricolea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Conrado Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Orlondon Sarricolea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlondon Sarricolea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmau Cifontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Somosnosotros F C getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Conrado Pascua hit a great ball. Orlondon Sarricolea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Orlondon Sarricolea notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Uruguay's Dalmau Cifontes. Dalmau Cifontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Somosnosotros F C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
