When Tolino Viñambre came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Socotroco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolino Viñambre couldn't finish the play. Pero Sopena was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Emilio Millano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emilio Millano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Zavier Sahagun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Cabezudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Socotroco's Tolino Viñambre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pero Sopena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Tolino Viñambre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Pero Sopena made a huge save. Socotroco's Zavier Sahagun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zunbeltz Cebollero in the 26th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Cuaro got a freekick which was hit by Telo Guerrico. In the 44th minute of the match Santos Ruiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pero Sopena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Pero Sopena managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Socotroco's Emilio Millano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Cabezudo was the one to do the kick off. Domiku Gabirondo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Zunbeltz Cebollero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Zavier Sahagun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Manuel Cabezudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zavier Sahagun having to interfere. Emilio Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pero Sopena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Gutierrre Costoya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Socotroco fully deserved thier win.
