After a defensive mix-up in Horqueta FC's zone, Julian Abad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Izel Cerrajeria came out of the goal and Julian Abad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaroslaw Burufski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Izel Cerrajeria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Abad's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Julian Abad came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Sacred Heart of Jesus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Abad couldn't finish the play. Julian Abad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Izel Cerrajeria made a huge save. Theo Bond kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Izel Cerrajeria stood somewhat misplaced when Julian Abad came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. In the 34th minute, Julian Abad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horqueta FC's Izel Cerrajeria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Horqueta FC from getting a goal against them. Jaroslaw Burufski struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Izel Cerrajeria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacred Heart of Jesus. Jaroslaw Burufski fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 41st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Abad to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casomiro Dobale got free with Norbert Pazura in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd match minute, Sacred Heart of Jesus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zayvius Palomares to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Horqueta FC's Sugar Palanca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Pazura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sacred Heart of Jesus's Zayvius Palomares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Artaldo Espin, made in the 96th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Maceira in the 98th minute of play forced Sacred Heart of Jesus's goalkeeper Norbert Pazura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Pazura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Maceira, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
