Intxixu Allende took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beliran Villanueva. Vascos Fútbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Natal Darroja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Evangelista Alejos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beliran Villanueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ishmael Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Vascos Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ishmael Barreto came free, but Beliran Villanueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ishmael Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikolas Acacia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beliran Villanueva having to make a save. Mikolas Acacia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caton Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Caton Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuxila Rendon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Natal Darroja could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Nuxila Rendon however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikolas Acacia during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ishmael Barreto to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikolas Acacia got free with Beliran Villanueva in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Mederos FC's zone, Natal Darroja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuxila Rendon came out of the goal and Natal Darroja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evangelista Alejos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Caton Faria's late challenge caught a Mederos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caton Faria helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vascos Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Caton Faria hit a great ball. Nuxila Rendon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natal Darroja's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 81st match minute, Mederos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidro Lera to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Natal Darroja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuxila Rendon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evangelista Alejos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natal Darroja charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natal Darroja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mederos FC booed when Vascos Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natal Darroja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evangelista Alejos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Natal Darroja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vascos Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natal Darroja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mederos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
