Rolando Grau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marcu Dicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Canas AFC's zone, Ereinotz Cuebas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Palacios came out of the goal and Ereinotz Cuebas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliberto Palacios made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Martín Cauteruccio sent off a good shot on target. Astor Aumente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Palacios having to interfere. Martín Cauteruccio in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Feliberto Palacios, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 46 minutes into the match, Martín Cauteruccio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Palacios. Canas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martín Cauteruccio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ereinotz Cuebas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Valencia F.C booed when Canas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igon Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Canas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Aumente came free, but Feliberto Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ereinotz Cuebas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canas AFC's Feliberto Palacios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliberto Palacios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ereinotz Cuebas's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Maura Serrana came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Valencia F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maura Serrana couldn't finish the play. Martín Cauteruccio struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Feliberto Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia F.C. Feliberto Palacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Aumente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ereinotz Cuebas in the 69th minute of play forced Canas AFC's goalkeeper Feliberto Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valencia F.C's Ereinotz Cuebas got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Ereinotz Cuebas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canas AFC's Feliberto Palacios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Canas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maura Serrana came free, but Feliberto Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Martín Cauteruccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Palacios came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia F.C's Astor Aumente. But to his dismay, Astor Aumente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 89 minutes, Ereinotz Cuebas made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Canas AFC's Feliberto Palacios tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliberto Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertran Miña in the 92nd minute of the match. Canas AFC's Feliberto Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ereinotz Cuebas in the 94th minute of play. If Martín Cauteruccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ereinotz Cuebas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Palacios having to interfere.
