But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Traves couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Traves in the 9th minute of play forced Sequeira FC's goalkeeper Niolaao Gracia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Barrancas getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gau Almonte hit a great ball. Baraquiel Cachero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Todor Villagarcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Barrancas's Modesto Traves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niolaao Gracia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 23rd minute Manny Alen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niolaao Gracia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helder Basurto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todor Villagarcia having to interfere. Baraquiel Cachero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sequeira FC's Niolaao Gracia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Traves in the 33rd minute of play. Modesto Traves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Niolaao Gracia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helder Basurto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gonzalo Lomba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Todor Villagarcia. Barrancas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Todor Villagarcia came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Sequeira FC's Baraquiel Cachero. But to his dismay, Baraquiel Cachero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Modesto Traves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Helder Basurto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Manny Alen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes in the game, Modesto Traves fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Niolaao Gracia having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Traves got free with Niolaao Gracia in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavion Landeribar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Manny Alen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niolaao Gracia having to interfere.
