Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Donato Saiz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 17 minutes, Bruno Regueiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niubels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Regueiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Uriel Cubero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Niubels's Bruno Regueiro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 26 minutes, Gentza Tomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niubels and the Castilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Niubels getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gentza Tomas hit a great ball. Castilla FC's Sidoro Izmendi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Castilla FC's Lartaun Dominguez got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Gentza Tomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ovidio Ibarzabal hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Mark Maliaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidoro Izmendi struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Uriel Cubero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castilla FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Saiz got free with Faustão Fantini in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the game, Norberto Montalvo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Niubels's Donato Saiz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 68th minute, Zenaido Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match Peru Cardeña shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uriel Cubero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Donato Saiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustão Fantini was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Niubels were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Castilla FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bibiano Sobrevilla took the corner. After taking down the ball on Niubels's corner Bibiano Sobrevilla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Faustão Fantini quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Castilla FC booed when Niubels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Saiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Castilla FC's Sidoro Izmendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Cubero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Donato Saiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Faustão Fantini made a huge save. Despite being the better team, Niubels failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
