Gelmiro Pruano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eudoxio Badas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ceferino Vasaburu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santutxo Averasturi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. El Semillero's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santutxo Averasturi in the 33rd minute of play forced Hijo de Mil's goalkeeper Xiao Galaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Olalde charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal Olalde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Vasaburu to make the kick off. If Santutxo Averasturi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hijo de Mil's goalkeeper Xiao Galaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Santutxo Averasturi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Julian Arteson sped through Hijo de Mil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xiao Galaz. The supporters of Hijo de Mil booed when El Semillero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Erosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xiao Galaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santutxo Averasturi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Ceferino Vasaburu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Santutxo Averasturi notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Hijo de Mil's Xiao Galaz. Xiao Galaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Julian Arteson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Julian Arteson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xiao Galaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Arteson in the 86th minute of play forced Hijo de Mil's goalkeeper Xiao Galaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, El Semillero's Juvenal Olalde got a free kick in the 89th minute. Eufrasio Ferragudo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xiao Galaz. Xiao Galaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Oskarbi Pis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eudoxio Badas having to interfere. Hijo de Mil's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
