With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartoleme Ocouto in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blasco Betoño saved Tataia Patriots Club from getting behind. Blasco Betoño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartoleme Ocouto in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tataia Patriots Club's Omero Dicastillo got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th match minute, Punta Carretas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cloyo Corono to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Muc Melendo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmund Kazimierz. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tataia Patriots Club's zone, Maximo Valino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blasco Betoño came out of the goal and Maximo Valino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes of play, Punta Carretas FC's Santiago Ramirez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blasco Betoño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmund Kazimierz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Amoros in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Santiago Ramirez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Blasco Betoño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximo Valino took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blasco Betoño. Blasco Betoño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Noël Poncelet struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Blasco Betoño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punta Carretas FC. Maximo Valino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blasco Betoño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Punta Carretas FC's Evert Julin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blasco Betoño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Punta Carretas FC's Edmund Kazimierz got control of the ball when Cordarell Florian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximo Valino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Blasco Betoño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Felipe Amoros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Muc Melendo to make the kick off. Bartoleme Ocouto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blasco Betoño having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Punta Carretas FC's Luís Gerber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blasco Betoño. Blasco Betoño yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Blasco Betoño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartoleme Ocouto in the 57th minute of the match. Santiago Ramirez's late challenge caught a Tataia Patriots Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Ramirez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Punta Carretas FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Santiago Ramirez hit a great ball. Blasco Betoño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Blasco Betoño was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Bartoleme Ocouto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bartoleme Ocouto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Edmund Kazimierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muc Melendo in the 65th minute of play. The throw-in from Omero Dicastillo in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Punta Carretas FC's Noël Poncelet. 70 minutes into the game, Santiago Ramirez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blasco Betoño. Santiago Ramirez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. When Luís Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punta Carretas FC's protests and gave Luís Gerber a yellow card for diving instead. Maximo Valino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blasco Betoño having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Muc Melendo made a precise shot to the right of Edmund Kazimierz. Punta Carretas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. The Punta Carretas FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Punta Carretas FC's Bartoleme Ocouto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bartoleme Ocouto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blasco Betoño came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartoleme Ocouto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-8 in the 88th minute. When Santiago Ramirez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Punta Carretas FC's Santiago Ramirez got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Punta Carretas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tataia Patriots Club throughout the match.
